Sunday Liturgy Preparation
The role of the liturgy planners is to 'prayerfully' consider the readings of the day, keeping in mind any Feast Days or Special days e.g. Social Justice Sunday. They then choose the music and prayers of intercession for the day.
The Sunday Liturgy is prepared by six groups who operate on a roster system. The names of the groups preparing the liturgy appear in the Parish Newsletter. All groups welcome the input of new members and 'on-the- job' liturgy training will be provided. Please use the contact form to register interest. |

The Catholic Church in the Vatican 11 reform of the Liturgy ‘Sacrosanctum Concilium’ stated,
"the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed;
it is also the fount from which all her power flows.” #10
