Parish Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council's role is to promote the Church's mission to live and communicate the love and values of Jesus Christ in our world. The Pastoral Council shares in the responsibility for the ongoing life and development of the faith community, working together with parishioners to provide support for their efforts to live as followers of Jesus Christ.
There are 10 members - Albert George (Chairperson & School Board Representative), Andrew Barker (Vice-Chairperson), Aneetha John (Secretary), Anne Keating (Laudato Si' Representative), Sue Williams (North East Deanery Representative), Anjala Jolly, Maureen King, Bernie Brearley, Brian Taylor and Andrew McEwan.
There are 5 'ex-officio' permanent members - Father Gerry Hefferan (Parish Priest), Deacon Minje Kim (February-July), Margaret Halpin (Pastoral Coordinator), Brett Kitchener (St. Joseph's Principal), Kathryn Turner (Finance Liaison) making a total number of Pastoral Council members 15.
They meet ten times a year, on the 2nd Monday of the month.
